Some of you might have seen this beautiful pleated pink skirt already yesterday on my Instagram. I never thought about wearing a mid-length skirt. The color and the pattern got me my attention. For sure there will be more skirts in mid-length find their way into my wardrobe.
How could I style my pleated pink skirt?
Since the length is a new style to me, I need to find out how I will style the skirt in the next couple of days. The first style is a late summer/autumn style. Combined with a simple white shirt and a mid-heel pump it is a classic chic style. Of course, my Louis Vuitton Metis is part of the style too. Doesn’t it match so fabulous? For autumn I will style it with boots and a beautiful knitted jumper or add a poncho.
Combine new and old items with the pleated pink skirt
When I buy new clothes, it is important to me that I can combine existing garments. I bought whole outfits too, and I loved it, but fashion for me is to style and combine and create different looks out of individual pieces. In my wardrobe, there are many classic essential items, which I can pair with a more fantastic piece like the pleated pink skirt.
In my last post Casual Wednesday and red lips I was writing about the power of accessories. For sure the Pochette Metis is the most powerful accessory added to this look. Another accessory I am wearing is a Chanel necklace which I own for several years now. With this necklace, every boring outfit begins to sparkle.
Sometimes you just have to try something new even if you are not 100% sure before.
What I wore:
White Blouse: Umani
Pleated pink skirt: HM
Shoes: Ginavito Rossi
Handbag: Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis in Rose Poudre
Sunglasses: Tom Ford
Necklace: Chanel not current season
Have a beautiful Sunday everyone and tomorrow a good start into the new week.
