The summer is here, and we all have been waiting so long to wear our favorite summer clothes finally. If you work in a professional office, you need to present a professional environment to clients, customers, and colleagues. In this case, there might be some limitations to certain outfits. Summer business looks can be tricky, let me share some thoughts with you.
For Men: Suits in muted colors, collar, shirt and tie. Clean and polished shoes.
For Woman: Suits, dresses, skirt, and blazer in muted colors, blouse. Clean and polished shoes.
Clothes should be comfortable, but neat and professional.
For Men: Chinos, corduroys and another type of smart casual trousers, collared shirts, including polo shirts.
For Woman: skirts, dresses, trousers, shirts, blouses, and tops which are smart and suitable for the office.
Summer business looks
To dress appropriately for a man is seems so much easier than for a woman. Ladies, there are plenty of dress codes/ guidelines you should consider when you want to be successful and taken seriously in your job. When you start a new job, you can ask for a dress code policy and watch out what other women wear in the office. You need to feel comfortable in your clothes, so don’t copy someone’s style. Develop your own.
Some summer business looks examples
Following some examples for summer business looks. I show you a more casual and a more formal version of each outfit. Sometimes it is the little detail that makes a huge difference.
This beautiful Rene Lazard dress (on Sale now) is adorable and very business attire on it is own.
With a black blazer, (Balmain) this outfit is even more formal.
Because I love this Rene Lezard dress, I got it in blue too.
Here I styled the dress with a gray blazer from Zara.
White trouser and taupe top styled casually with flats.
White trouser: Set Fashion, Top: River Island, Handbag: Louis Vuitton Alma, Shoes: Louis Vuitton
Again the details matter: the same outfit with high heels look more elegant.
Shoes: Christian Louboutin, Handbag: Louis Vuitton.
This is one of my favorite summer business travel outfit. The black suit is styled casually with Converse Chucks.
Suit: More and More Fashion, Body: Wolford, Handbag: Louis Vuitton Alma, Shoes: Converse Chucks.
This look is so much more elegant. A little detail like shoes can change the whole appearance.
Show to much skin, if necessary wear a light tight with a dress or skirt.
Open shoes: Do not show to much of your feet. Make sure that you had a proper pedicure.
Tanktops: Please wear tops with a sleeve.
